Yesterday, Prince Charles made a visit to London’s St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, where he specifically asked to privately meet the healthcare workers who looked after his late father, Prince Philip.
"It meant an enormous amount to us that he came to visit and also that he met those involved in his father's care. We were just so honored to have treated his father and it was wonderful to see the Prince of Wales today," said Professor Charles Knight, chief executive of St. Bartholomew's said, according to
Prince Philip stayed at the private, specialized hospital in March while being treated for a “preexisting heart condition” and undergoing surgery. The Duke of Edinburgh died “peacefully” a few weeks later on April 9 at Windsor Castle. He was 99 years old.
