Prewired secures funding from Creative Informatics to take one of Scotland’s longest-running coding clubs for young people online

Prewired has taught coding and digital skills to over 350 under-19s since being founded in 2013 in partnership with University of Edinburgh’s School of Informatics 
Scottish charity Prewired was set up in response to “educational gap” in provision of digital skills in Scotland 
Computer programming sessions had taken place at CodeBase in Edinburgh pre-pandemic
Regina Vereker, Resident Entrepreneur at Prewired, says: “We will be using funding to develop online resources for young people to learn coding, design and other digital skills, while building a digital community so they can engage with each other and share knowledge”
