Residential areas early saturday, pushing the overall deathdul to more than 4300 since the regimes aggression began. More than a thous people remain missing as well. Meanwile the Un Relief Agency for Palestinian Refugees known as annarwa said 17 of its Staff Members were killed in the conflict. This comes as the rafa order crossing between egypt and gaza has reopened and eight trucks have been allowed into the bessiest palestinian territory. However, the media office of the ghaza government said in statement that the limited amount. Of relief aid will not ease the humanitarian crisis in the coastal palestinian territory. Palestinian resistance of groups have launched more attacks against israel retaliation for the regimes bombardment of the ghaza strip. The military wing of Hamas Resistance Movement to the ezedin al qassam brigades launched missiles at the city of tel aviv. Israely military positions in east alqs were also targeted. Hamas had previously stated that it can target anywhere in the occupied territories. The Palestinian Resistance fighters entered the gaza envelope area on october 7th, following missile strikes on israeli targets under the operation alaxsa flood. At least 1500 israels have been killed and nearly 500 injured since then. Hamas says it launched a military campaign, response to repeated israeli desecration of alaskamask and the regimes crimes and aggression throughout the throughout the decades. The palestinian minister of health has called on the International Community. To protect hospital in gaza, after israel ordered its evacuation and a signed that the facility will be bombed. May alkeila says the International Community must take a swift action to prevent another tragedy similar to that of the alahli hospital. It took place after another Evacuation Order by the regime. Nearly 500 people died there after the hospital was bombed last tuesday. According to palestinian officials, alqs hospital is housing over 400 patients and nearly 12. Israel has also notified eight agencies to evacuate five schools. Laila khalid, one of the iconic faces of the Palestinian Resistance gave an interview to press tv. Shes a member of the popular front for the liberation of palestine. Laila joined the struggle for the liberation of palestine in her 20s. She is now in her late 70s and is still fighting against the israeli occupation. Through her activism, lets listen to what she said, no, the israel is from they occupied palestine and also after 1967, the resistance was there even my women, the women in panstin, they were not studing, they are putting explosive, attestations and and and they were centers for life, of course every act should use on the tactics to promote the revolution, to be nearer to liberation, so in every era of the study, you have tactics and you have to strategy. And then in 1987 the intifada broke out, this is new stage of our revolution, that the people went to streets to face the army with all its any their weapons, but our children were facing also the army of israel, and it took about six years. Unfortunately, the leadership of plo, led by arafat went to negotiations, we were against that, but and he was supported by the arabs also to go for negotiations and to sign also of course afterwards this now we ended up for with the iltifather is the slogan freedom and independence and if it went back and arafat and his, allies, we could have done that, because the army began to shake the israeli army, they are following children, some of them committed suicide, but it was a historical inteifada even the world intifada was in all languages intifather, they nobody changed it, and that was also. Another era of liberation movement. Okay, live from Central London, were looking at protests that are happening there, this is the number of times that this type of protest has been held is now uh running uh quite high in terms of not only just in london but rather around the world, the september 21st march, as we can see there, is organized by the palestine solidarity. Campaign also um friends of alasa stopped the war coalition, the Muslim Association of britain, palestinian form in britain and the campaign for nuclear disarmament, all are involved, so if you have that Many Organizations involved, it speaks for itself why so many have come out and take a look at some of the placards there, i dont even say anything, if you just read them, you can pretty much know what this protest is all about, lets listen to perhaps some of the audio there and see maybe we can decifer whats being said. Okay, its kind of hard to actually make out what theyre saying, but obviously its a very big protest, and um, id like to bring in our correspondent if possible uh soon, once i get the green light on that, in order to uh have him described to us what is taking place there. Yeah, its hard to make out what people are saying because theyre drowning each other out, theres so many people that are actually protesting here, this particular shot shows the size of the protest in terms of where they are going, uh, it said the march will set off at 12 pm from marble arch wherever that is, and uh, in terms of uh, the policing here, the met police has even come out and made a statement, you have a thousand Police Officers deployed a trend in. Europe is they are either thinking of or have banned pro palestine rallys defiance of free speech, which puts that under threat for poor playing protest, especially the ones that we know that happened in paris where its been banned, and now we have said puraza, joins us uh from london to tell us more. Well, said, tell us about this protest which is so large in size and in scope, and i noticed while you were waiting you, i actually recognized. Some people uh in the protest by waving to them, so im guessing that that is also a sign of how a big a protest this is, theres that covit as well as the fact that they watch press tv and they are very complimentary about our coverage of whats been happening over the past two weeks and of course the decades that went before that um todays protest organized as i heard you say by the uh Different Campaign groups. Um that has brought out these huge numbers, its hard to get a sense of the exact number, but definitely in the tens of thousands definitely bigger than the one that took place last week. I was talking to one of the organizers uh, an hour ago, who told me that they were expecting this to be, if not as big, but somewhere in the neighborhood of the size of the protest that uh took place in february 2003 prior to the legal. Usa invasion of iraq, weve been standing here for half an hour now and the crowd keeps streaming past us and it doesnt run out on their way to number 10 downing street, and theyre telling us that they have two messages to say. With the world, one is where the palestinians, they are with them, they have their backs and theyre not standing alone in this brutal Israeli Campaign against them, and the second message to the uk government and and similar governments around the world, but in particular their own government here, telling them, reminding them to look at the poll, the most recent one um found out 76 of adult britains that were asked, asking for immediate ceasefire to the hostilities that are being waged against the captive uh population of the gaza strand. We havent heard any comment like that calling out any party for seasefire as far as the British Government is concerned. Instead what we have seen um the different officials uh competing with other government officials around the world to go to israel and and and uh provide their unconditional support uh there uh most. Recently the uk um Prime Minister rishi tsunak, but again no call for sease fire um as far as the British Government is concerned, the crowd is only growing in size by the minute, it all started around 12 um oclock london time, and it has swill into the size that you can see right now, all of them walking forwards number 10 downing street where they will be um sending the message to the British Government. Some the slogans that we hear them chat. Palestine will be free, from the river to the sea, palestine will be free, and similar slogans that are familiar to palestinian supporters all around the world and not just uh here, and as they say, its not the first time its happening, but it has only grown in size, um, as the indiscriminate bombardment of the gaza strip continues the targeting of hospitals and civilian infrastructure and the horrendous attacks that continue to go on and the deaths and casualties that bovel everybodys mind. I have seen people, care workers, nurses, from all backgrounds and age groups, all coming here wearing the iconic palestinian tepia, dawning the palestinian flag to express. Solid support for the palestinians in the days and and months and weeks to come and it looks like despite the attempts by uh the government here, the homem office, the secretary of state, the home secretary, the unhealful common that she came up with, such as uh carrying the palestinian flag may be a criminal offense or chanting the freedom of power. Time from the river to the sea, that kind of those comments that were aimed at um preventing people from chanting them or think twice about them, have not succeeding and you can hear the same slogans as i speak to you, im going to ask my cameraman to try and pain a little bit, im going to step out of the shot if thats okay for you to see the sheer size of of the crowd that is walking pasts on their way to um white hall, thats where the uk Prime Ministers office is. I think we can, if we can just go up here step out of the way to see, um, as far as the eye can see, you can see people carrying flapards, asking for sanctions on israel, and to the occupation of the palestinian territories. Hostilities against palestinians as well as freedom in the end for the palestinians and the formation of an independent palestinian state, you can see palestini and frags are all familiar sites really, the the biggest difference being that the crowd is simply massive and that speaks volumes about the sheer. Number of people were out here expressing solidarity with the palestinians and the ground swell of support for the palestinians and and their fight against oppression and occupation cover. Yeah, what we understand, as as matter of fact, based on the numbers, it might be in the vicinity of around 200,000 site that have come out, but another thing thats uh, at least in my opinion that matters and maybe you could explain uh to us more is uh. The announcement that actually uh came from uh the british parliament, quote, we expect unfortunately to have to be demonstrating every week for the next few weeks, potentially over the next few months. And we expect the support for these demonstrations to grow, if you have a um, if you have that type of uh statement being made, do you, do you for see that happening based on at least what youre seeing now that these are just going to grow and also in frequency . If youre looking for any indication or signs of this growing even bigger in terms of size and number, this is it, at least in my time here over the past few years, havent seen anything um like this. In supporting the palestinian people, there have been multiple demonstrations, this is different, just like the situation in the gaza strip is different, the um amount of support that were witnessing, not just here in the uk, but around the world, theres been a change in that as well, and yes it is true that what were going to see is this growing into something bigger and the hope for us here is that they want to pile the pressure on their government. To put an end to the hostilities, to the repic, brutal bombardment of the palestinian territories, the in their words, the genocide has taken place against the beseb as we speak over the past two weeks as well, and until and unless that happens, you would expect that more people would be joining a similar demonstrations over the next few weeks to make that happen, and at least not for now we havent urged um any such from the British Government or a similar government calling for a c um to israeli indiscriminated bombing of the palestinian territories therefore the conclusion that follows is that this is going to continue for the forseable um future the people i have talked to um have been telling us that they cannot believe that this is going to being allowed. To happen that that women and children and people are being slaughtered a daily basis in the gaza strip at a time when the um occupiers have um cut off supplies electricity and water to population that had already spent more than decade in a complete blocade imposed by the Israeli Regime thats the kind of sense you get from from the people here, these are people who are tuned in, they are really instinct, they know what is going on, they understand um what the palestinians are fighting for, they understand the palestinian flight, they understand that things did not start uh really on october 7th, there is a history to what is happening in that part of the world, and in order to understand that youll have to study up, you have to gig deeper, have to go back 75 years to see . We dont start it, this country that the birth place, the the place where that helped give birth to israel in palestine and and now were witnessing of course is second unfolding in the palestinian territories, the Israeli Regime seeming hel bent on pushing the palestinians out of the gaza strip into the sin and imposing another they have. Catastrophe on the on the palest, palestinians, but to your question again, whether or not this is going to continue um by the looks of it, it definitely is, its shaping off to be, at least today, one of the biggest demonstrations pro palestine demonstrations in modern history, at least few decades and it will definitely began uh as long as the brutality. That the Israeli Regime is committing against the palestinians continues um univated and weve seen that happen, only get worse uh in the past two weeks. Um, i i just want to fall, i wonder if you can hear this, i can for second or two and let you hear some of the slogans. Wow, look at that shot there, uh, this is one of the biggest protests that uh were looking at uh from london, that uh ariel shot there, is testiment to that. Julia. As a journalists and political analyst who joins us from beirots, well julia uh we just are witnessing one of the biggest protes to take place according to our correspondent uh this could be as big as the one that took place back in 2003 in london or in the uk uh when uh the us invasion was taking place um when you take a look at these uh protests some ask well what is it going to achieve except for people to come out and slam uh the israeli atrocities but i think in the Bigger Picture uh World Leaders who are um involved in this war and one. Or another whether directly or behind the scenes like the us uh and even in israel uh it does make a difference but dont you think in terms of uh for example whether theyre going to go through with a Ground Invasion uh maybe in terms of the depth of the uh targeting that israel is executing on the gaza strip, perhaps and im just citing some examples, what do you think . So if were going to use the 2003 example, unfortunately um the uh the invasion was went ahead and and it happened, um, the hesitation over the Ground Invasion is more due to um material and strategic factors um that the israeli ha army has um inability to um you know fight fairly essentially on the ground in gaza, which is why its easier for them to just um dessimate some civilians and and attempt to flatten gaza from the air, um, all this is matter of material equations, um, the uh, the United States, which the israel has waited for a reinforcement from, um, came through and um, basically also war. Warn just warn them not to provoke uh with with hazballah as theyre theyre severely theyre severely outdone in that capacity sorry thats okay theyre severely out in that capacity um but um the the process are essentially um a rejection of the manufacturing of consent that uh the the israelis and the United States has done to um to uh to gain consensus for their their invasion um uh its its a rejection of that narrative that was spread that palestinians are barbarians that are murdering israelis and should be dealt with um that hazballah is being that sorry that hamas is being targeted in gods strip um no people clearly see otherwise and people clearly know that um the narrative doesnt uh match up to the reality so um it is an embold emboldens um essentially those that are on the side of uh palestinian sovereignty, palestinian liberation, palestinian human rights, to see this, the rejection of the repression of western governments um with regard to these protests that are particularly threatening them because of their impact in changing and in dispelling uh that narrative and in um basically showing uh public opposition to uh these campaigns of murder. And and violence by the zionist entity. Uh, the us is reported uh to uh not want uh for this operation to take place in terms of the Ground Invasion aspect of it. It is afraid and many sources are saying that the us is afraid that this is going to uh um pull uh hezbollah into the picture and that israel is going to be targeted there in the gaza strip and uh that it may inflame the region something that the us does not want to have. But then theres other camp that says uh that the us does want this to happen and does uh uh not only back israely plans for it but also um is providing israel the logistics and the equipment thats necessary for it to do it uh which camp do you agree with . Um well clearly the the us is actually um pushing israel not to commence with the Ground Invasion um particularly because not only uh would it incur losses to the zinanis entity on against facing off fairly against hames, but also it would bring in um hazballah into the fold and not just hazballah but also the unsar allah which struck at um struck at israel um from the sea a few days ago, it would uh bring in the the the Iraqi Resistance into the fold which has been targeting uh us air bases uh again just like they had after the assassination of. Um, so uh, its clear that the the us is pulling the rain, wants to pull the rains on israel, on this Ground Invasion to not bring in other elements of the resistance access, which would ensure not only los in this this battle for the zinus entity, but in its uh existence and its presence all together, um, and this also would translate to huge loss obviously for the United States too, um, so you know, they. Its kind of an existential um risk for them at this point uh to not have the that restraint exercise and to not be honest with themselves on their capability to um confront not only hamas but uh hazballah which um by themselves uh tel aviv and washington both know um cannot be uh confronted successfully and um and uh the the other elements of the resistance texas which in the last siege. Had said that they had were stated uh stated they would come support uh palestine and have already made moves and maneuvers to uh to to engage in the the coordinate. Efforts um across uh all all the forces uh to target the zionist entity and to uh wage this like war of attition type of um warfare against them which which has been consistently done and and consistently been coordinated uh so what weve been seeing in the last few days with the the strikes from the ansaw law in yemen um from the strikes against us bases in iraq from the. Successful crossborder operations by hazballah against the israeli bases, um tenkavas tanks destroyed amongst uh every single uh target really successfully and almost easily apparently reached by the the lebanese resistance, it shows that there is an existing an ongoing coordination of these forces um against israel and they uh they already are you know sending a c your warning uh that uh keep going and uh youre finished to design entity all right thank you for that julia do stay with us while we look at whats happening there in london uh huge marches taking place in Central London in support of palestinians in the gaza strip uh tens of thousands and some counts putting it over 100,000 maybe upwards to 2000 people to have taken part in these protests lets take a listen to some of the audio there and see if we can make out what people are saying. الله اكبر الله اكبر الله. Okay, it gives you an idea about whats going on there, uh, some of the chance there, god is great, seems to be the ones thats being echoed by the protesters there, frase is a journalist and author and welcome, well, i mean, let me get your thoughts on this frow huws, about this huge protest thats taking place in downtown london, uh, some say its birds at around 200,000 that may that have shown up, but its definitely a great show of solidarity with the palestinians from the people there in london, it is without doubt, it shows you that there are many marches, many protests, many vigils through many capitals throughout the uh world, indeed the. Is a uh march and protest from belfast city hall round to the bbc, the british Broad Company broadcasting house in belfast and i believe theres also a large demonstration in dublin, uh, i attended a vigil on thursday night, a black flag vigil at belfast city hall, were several hundred people in attendance, uh, i spoke to many of the people there, and i asked them uh, when the balming stops, which it will have. Actually although we dont know what the outcome will be for the people of gaza uh with israels kind of end giam plan for the expulsion of the palestinian ethnic indigenous population from palestine and i ask people when a boming stops and normally the rally stop normally the flag weaving stops what happens next and many people had no answer for me and this is what i fear is the main danger tens of millions of people. Will protest, they will march to the israeli embassies, they will march to the american embassis, they will march to the propaganda broadcasting houses like the bbc, but when this ends, what will those people do next, how will they support the people of palestine, or will they just simply go home, the bombings finished, they feel that they have played their part on the ground to try and bring about se
