President Bola Tinubu has met with Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State and Peter Odili, a former governor of the state, and other stakeholders at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The development follows the rift between the governor and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, who is minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Tinubu had in October intervened to resolve the political crisis in Rivers State involving Governor Fubara and his predecessor, Wike.
