At Holy Savior Cathedral in Aix-en-Provence in southern France there's a bustle of activity.
"It's normal," assures Father Benoît Tissot.
But there is a difference this year.
In addition to setting up the Nativity Scene, the cathedral is required to have hand sanitizers at the entrances, ensure physical distance among worshipers and limit the number of those allowed inside.
All parishes throughout France, as in many other countries, are adapting to health measures aimed at limiting the spread of COVID-19.
Between multiplying the number of Masses and enforcing proper distancing, all these churches are trying to preserve the "Christmas spirit" as much as possible.
