Premiere: Houston band RōZY amps up the girl power with 'Doll'

RōZY rails against societal expectations with "Doll." The Houston band's new single and video, premiering on preview.houstonchronicle.com, is about standing up for yourself and taking control of your life.
"There's so much pressure society puts on us, from how we dress to what job we have to what we consume in our bodies. As humans, we should be allowed to be the best version of ourselves," says singer and guitarist Zoe Flores. "We want people to feel good about themselves when they listen to this song. No matter what anyone tells you, whether it's that you're too short, not skinny enough, you couldn't be this or you have to look this way, you are beautiful just the way you are."
