Premier Health President and CEO Mary Boosalis plans to retire next year, the company announced Monday.
Boosalis has led the Dayton, Ohio-based health system since 2017. The board of trustees will conduct a national search for her successor.
Throughout her 35-year at at the system, Boosalis sought to expand Premier Health's territory through partnerships with other businesses and community stakeholders.
Most notably, Premier has a long-standing collaborative relationship with the University of Dayton. In 2000, the two entities formed the Genesis Project to redevelop Dayton's Fairgrounds neighborhood. In 2019, the university and Premier created OnMain, a $15 million, multiyear project to build out a 38-acre site into a mixed-used residential community.
