Prairie Village Police have identified the victim in a homicide Saturday after a man was found dead at an apartment near W. 75th St. and Mission Rd. They have also made an arrest in the case.Police say the victim is John Hoffman of Prairie Village. He was found dead at the Deauville Apartments with multiple gunshot wounds just after 6 p.m. Saturday. Officers say through their investigation and with cooperation from several metro agencies, they identified a suspect who is now in custody. The suspect's name has not been released.
