On May 2, 2021, at about 9:45 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a property on the 800 block of Sylvan Glade Road near Blocksburg for the report of a shooting that had occurred earlier that morning.
Surveillance footage captured at the property showed two vehicles arrive at the property at about 4:50 a.m. Unknown suspects associated with the vehicles cut the lock on a gate at the driveway and one vehicle proceeded to drive onto the property. Approximately eight suspects associated with the vehicle are then depicted trespassing on the property. Upon approaching a residence on the property, two suspects began shooting at the residence. Following the shooting, the suspects fled the scene.
