POTSDAM — The Potsdam town board is mulling over the policy of COVID-19 testing for municipal employees. The town is considering whether employees who contract the virus should test again to register a negative result before returning back to work.
Current town policy for the highway department requires everyone who tests positive to be off for a mandatory ten days and then test again.
Town employees and officials who test positive for the virus could potentially be off from work for up to several weeks before they test negative again.
