BEAUMONT, Texas — A Tornado Watch is effective until 9 p.m. Friday in Southeast Texas as the risk of severe weather is expected throughout the area.
A round of widespread showers and potentially severe thunderstorm activity is forecast for Friday night.
Most of the Lakes Area of Southeast Texas is under a Tornado Warning until 8 p.m. A risk of severe weather is forecast between Buna and Kirbyville with damaging winds and hail moving eastward at 65 mph.
