LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Data from the Texas Department of State Health Services continues to show a rapid increase in the spread of coronavirus in Texas and
Lubbock hospitals seem to be no exception to that statewide trend. Executives with Covenant Health in Lubbock say holiday gatherings may be to blame for an increase in hospitalizations.
“About the time we said, ‘well maybe this is starting to go away,’ we had a sudden uptick today,” Dr. Craig Rhyne, chief medical officer Covenant, said.
