The "Oregon City Sessions" is something of lore for hardcore
Portugal. The Man fans. The project began when the band returned home from tour at the end of 2008, after a prolific two years that saw them release three full-length albums, an EP, a handful of singles, and perform nearly 500 shows. Instead of taking a well-deserved break, they decided to go into the studio and film their setlist one time through, with no retakes or overdubs. A few weeks later, they recorded
The Satanic Satanist and shelved the "Oregon City Sessions." Now, more than a decade later, they're not only releasing it, but also hosting a "backstage hangout" and Q&A co-viewing party for their most devoted fans.
