Portland man kicked out of Boy Scouts sentenced to 5 years in prison for subsequent child sex crimes

When Henry Stephen Bauer was kicked out of the Boy Scouts of American in 1993 for repeated inappropriate touching and grooming of boys, the organization never told police. He went on to sexually abuse a child in 2009, according to prosecutors.
