Pope accepts resignation of Peru bishop linked to scandal-plagued group

Amid an ongoing investigation into a scandal-plagued Peruvian lay group, the Vatican Tuesday announced that a top archbishop belonging to the group had been removed from leadership of the Piura archdiocese.
