Shakira, the Colombian music star has reached a settlement with prosecutors to avoid a trial in Barcelona over charges she failed to pay €14.5m (£12.7m) in Spanish income tax between 2012 and 2014. The music star had been hit with tax fraud case after allegedly failing to pay 6.7 million euros (£5.8 million) in tax on her income in 2018, authorities said.
