Political commentator promotes one-term citizen politicians as key to election reform

Conservative political commentator Bill Whittle shared his ideas for election reform — taking career politicians out of politics to rid the system of quid pro quo obligations — at the American Liberty Forum of Ramona’s Jan. 30 meeting.
The 61-year-old author and speaker addressed about 200 attendees in the Ramona MainStage Theater in Ramona. Whittle has also been a guest on the Fox News Channel, “The Dennis Miller Show,” and national radio programs. His first book, “Silent America: Essays from a Democracy at War,” was published in 2004. This was his ninth consecutive year of presenting to ALFOR.
