Police: Woman expected to recover after Canyon Falls rescue | News, Sports, Jobs

BARAGA COUNTY — A woman who reportedly fell from a cliff at the Canyon Falls roadside park Friday was taken to the hospital but is expected to make a full recovery, according to the Baraga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies from the sheriff’s office responded to the Canyon Falls roadside park on Friday afternoon to a report of a woman who fell from a cliff and was in the water for an unknown amount of time.
Two people located the subject, called 911 and pulled her from the water, police said.
The subject had deep lacerations to her head and was possibly suffering from hypothermia. She was transported to Baraga County Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries and she’s expected to make a full recovery, according to a news release.
