Police have warned the public to be vigilant after reports of damage to woodland.
The reports suggest a large knife or axe was used to cut down saplings and cause other damage.
The incident relates to woodland in the Dewberry Hill woods area of Radcliffe.

Police said there were also reports of damage to the same area in August last year.
Members of the public have again been encouraged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour.
