Police urge pet owners to have their say on dog theft in the Grantham area with survey

Residents concerns and experiences of pet theft are being sought in a new national survey.
Lincolnshire’s police and crime commissioner (PCC) Marc Jones has urged dog owners to respond to the survey in the wake of a rise in thefts during the national lockdown.

A dog owner was left shaken after an attempt to snatch her puppy while she was out walking him along Harlaxton Road, Grantham, last November.
But only this week, it was reported across social media that a woman walking her dog on the Sunningdale estate, in Grantham, was confronted by two men in a white van on Wednesday afternoon.
