Police recover 3 pistols, methamphetamine in Paw Paw traffic stop

Police found two other handguns in his car.
The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. in the Village of Paw Paw.
A Van Buren County sheriff’s deputy stopped the suspect’s vehicle in the 400 block of Berrien Street for an equipment violation. The suspect, a 23-year-old Portage man, was asked to get out of his vehicle. He began to act suspiciously, police said.
Police searched the man and found the loaded gun and bags of methamphetamine, police said.
