In the month of April, at least one complaint related to police was received every second minute on CM Helpline in the state. Chhindwara district topped when it came to resolving these complaints on time, followed by Sidhi and then Katni districts for the month of April. Overall a total of 23,512 complaints related to police were received in the entire state in the month of April this year. Thus on an average at least 783 complaints were received daily and if seen statistically at least 32 complaints were received in every hour. Thus on an average at least one complaint was received in every two minutes in the state. As per the process, 80% weightage is given to the complaints that are resolved within 50 days and 20% weightage is given to complaints resolved after 50 days. Overall among all the 55 districts, Chhindwara got 92.43 weightage in resolving the complaints related to police on CM helpline. SP Chhindwara Manish Khatri said that in resolution of the complaints on CM helpline, Chhindwara did well on all levels and congratulated the police officials of the district. A total of 484 complaints related to police department were received on CM Helpline in Chhindwara in April and majority of the complaints were addressed and resolved with the stipulated time period, said official sources.
