Police cancel search for missing boy and father near Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have canceled a request to find an 11-year-old boy and his biological father. The endangered persons search was issued Saturday morning after a body was found Friday by a hiker near Las Vegas.
Authorities said the boy's mom identified the body as her 8-year-old son after seeing a police sketch. The younger boy and the 11-year-old had both been missing, last seen with their biological father earlier in the week.
