SHAH ALAM: Bukit Aman has crippled a ketamine processing laboratory and an international drug distribution syndicate with the seizure of drugs worth RM17.55mil.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said a total of seven operations were carried out on April 20 and 21, targeting the drug distribution syndicate which was active in the Klang Valley.
“The syndicate is believed to have procured the drugs through an illegal jetty in Kelantan and used containers and parcels to smuggle the drugs out by air and sea.
“During the raids, nine suspects, aged between 24 and 46, were arrested while 134kg of heroin base and 104kg of syabu worth RM15.2mil were seized.
