An arrest has been made in connection with the fire at the Martin Luther King Presbyterian Church last week.
A spokesman for the State Fire Marshal’s Office says Dushko Vulchev of Houlton, Maine was arrested and charged with several counts of malicious damage and three counts of attempted arson of the MLK Church.
Officials say there was one attempt to burn the church on December 13th and two more on December 15th of 2020.
Officials say that he was arrested in Pittsfield and is being held on bail for his arraignment in Pittsfield District Court.
Officials say that the investigation remains open and active.
