The Special Task Force (STF) of the Kolkata Police apprehended an individual with fake Indian currency notes (FICN) worth Rs 5 lakh from Kolkata in the wee hours of Thursday.
Acting upon a tip-off, the STF team intercepted the FICN racketeer, identified as Abdul Bashir, from Kolkata's Esplanade area.
