(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The arrest of  25 years old suspect, who gave his name as  Chukwudi Chukwu, from Nwofe Village in Izzi Council area  of Ebonyi State, who resides at Chime Avenue, Enugu, led to the recovery of a yellow-coloured Bajaj Tricycle popularly known as (Keke) with registration number: ENU 677 WW, which he and is gang uses for the operation.
 The state police public Relations officer, PPRO, Daniel Ndukwe,(ASP), who made this known to African Examiner in Enugu on Saturday,  said nine (9) ATM Cards of different banks were recovered from the suspect.
According to him, “the suspect,  whose  arrest  followed  a swift response to a distress call, would have been lynched  by an angry mob if not for the quick intervention of the Operatives.
