KABUL, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Ten suspects have been arrested for allegedly seven drug-related cases over the past seven days in Afghanistan, authorities said on Thursday.
The Counter-Narcotics Police of Afghanistan (CNPA), which is part of the Afghan National Police (ANP), after initial investigation, handed over the cases to the Central Narcotics Tribunal, a special court for jurisdiction of major drug-related cases in Afghanistan, the Counter Narcotics Justice Centre of Afghanistan said in a statement.
The CNPA also seized some amount of narcotics from the suspects. Enditem
