ATCHISON COUNTY—A juvenile was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Tuesday in Atchison.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, a 2010 Ford Flex driven by Patricia Presley, Indianola Iowa, struck a bicycle ridden by a 14 year old boy at 6th and U.S. 59 in Atchison.
Investigators learned the northbound bicyclist entered the intersection on a red light and collided with the westbound vehicle. The 14 year old was treated at the scene with minor injuries by EMS but was not transported, according to Wilson.
