Jakarta (ANTARA) - The East Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) handed out food to flood victims in several residential areas after the Ciliwung River overflowed its bank since Sunday afternoon.
"This noon, we will distribute lunch comprising bread and mineral water. Later, we will also distribute rice packages," PMI East Jakarta Head Euis Komalasari stated here on Monday.
The PMI will distribute food at four locations that bore the brunt of the flooding, she remarked.
Bidaracina and Cawang will each receive 200 packs; Kampung Melayu, 250 packs; and Kebon Manggis, 300 packs.
