PM conveys condolences on Tun Salleh Abas' passing

PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (
pic) has expressed his sadness over the passing of Tun Mohamed Salleh Abas as messages of condolences continue to pour in for the former Lord President.
"My family and I would like to convey our condolences to his family over the loss of their loved one and we pray they remain strong during this difficult time.
"On behalf of the government, I would like to thank him for all his contributions in empowering and upholding the integrity of the judiciary when he served as Lord President of the Supreme Court between 1984 and 1988," he said.
