Ann Clarke, owner of Polly’s Tea Rooms in Marlborough on the big opening up inside day
A wet and windy Monday usually means a quiet High Street in Marlborough.
Not so this Monday - as bars, cafes and restaurants in the town opened the doors for customers to sit in for the first time in nearly a year.
Popular High Street cafe/restuarant Polly's Tea Rooms was full to bursting with lunching locals.
"It has been so lovely to see people back in here," said owner Ann Clarke.
It was a routine dental check-up that gave Ann Clarke an idea for how to reopen her tea rooms safely.
