Pleasant Grove earns Area Championship with win over Ferris

MARSHALL, Texas -- In a do-or-die playoff game, Pleasant Grove's Hunter Rose crafted a pitching jewel to lead the Hawks to a Class 4A Area championship with 5-1 win over Ferris Thursday night at East Texas Baptist University's Woods Baseball Field.
