Plea deal: Shawnee homicide suspect could face 33 years in prison

Johnson County prosecutors reached a plea deal Wednesday with Fernando Reyes-Lara, who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and another charge in the November 2022 shooting death of Jarod Rogers.
