Here’s a look at the plans for the new Corlears Hook Park dog run. The Parks Department unveiled the design last week at a committee meeting of Community Board 3.
The project was made possible through a $550,000 grant from former City Councimember Rosie Mendez. CB3’s parks committee approved the design last Thursday, with a few conditions. There was a request to add a soft surface within the dog run (most of it will be asphalt). There was also a request to increase the height of the fences that are planned.
