WINTER STORMS ACROSS THE U.S. ARE DELAYING COVID VACCI DELIVERIES IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. PROVIDERS LIKE SUTTER HEALTH AREN’T MAKING APPOINTMENTS FOR FIRST DOSES DUE TO SHORT SUPPLY. SACRAMENTO COUNTY SAYS SHIPPING DELAYS MAY FORCE SOME CLINICS TO CANCEL, POSTPONE, OR REDUCE APPOINTMENTS AND YUBA-SUTTER HEALTH OFFICIALS SAY MODERNA IS NOT SENDING OF THE WINTER STORMS. THE COUNTY SAYS IT WILL BE ABLE TO GIVE FIRST DOSE VACCINES TO 70% OF THE PEOPLE REGISTERED FOR A CLINIC THIS WEEKEN THE REST WILL BE CONTACTED T REREGISTER FOR THE NEXT CLINIC. DEIRDRE: THE NATOMAS UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT WILL BEGIN ITS REOPENING PROCESS NEXT WEEK. ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY, PARTICIPATING PRE-K THROUGH SIXTH GRADE STUDENTS WILL SPEND TIME ON CAMPUS THEN, STARTING MARCH 1, PRE-K THROUGH SECOND GRADE START IN-PERSON CLASSES. THIRD THROUGH FIFTH GRADE STAR MARCH 8. SIXTH GRADERS WHO DON’T ROTATE OUT TO DIFFERENT CLASSROOMS OR TEACHERS CAN ALSO RESUME IN-PERSON LEARNING ON THE 8TH. INFORMATION ON THE PLAN FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS RETURNING TO IN-PERSON LEARNING WILL BE RELEASED IN THE NEXT TWO WEEK IT IS FRIDAY. MELANIE: WE MADE IT.
