Center for Biological Diversity: SANTA FE, N.M.— Youth, frontline community members and Indigenous peoples who sued the state of New Mexico this year for failing to control oil and gas pollution will present key elements of their case Monday before the Water and Natural Resources Committee. The plaintiffs will describe how oil and gas pollution violates their constitutional rights and identify steps the Legislature can take in the 2024 session to protect public health and the environment.
