As consumers emphasise more on quality products and services at the right price manufactured in the country, it will create more jobs for the youth and help in accelerating the growth of the country's economy, Goyal said while addressing a virtual event on the occasion of the National Consumer Day.

NEW DELHI: Consumer affairs minister Piyush Goyal urged people to use quality products manufactured in India to help local industry grow and generate 30-40 million jobs in 24 sectors identified by the government.
“If 130 crore people of the country demand good quality local products then no force in the world can stop India from becoming aatmanirbhar (selfreliant),” Goyal said, speaking on National Consumer Day.
