Pittston Area School District students in grades 5-12 will return to classrooms for in-person learning on April 12, Superintendent Kevin Booth announced at Tuesdayâs school board meeting.
Pittston Area students in kindergarten through fourth grades returned to classrooms Monday for the first time in a year. Those students have in-person learning in the morning five days a week and have remote learning in the afternoon.
Students in grades 5-12 will have in-person classes at least twice a week when the high school and middle school open April 12, Booth said. It could be five days, and the number of days for in-person learning will depend on how many students want in-person learning, Booth explained.
