India’s quality pace attack could prompt the hosts to prepare seamer-friendly pitches instead of the traditional sub-continental spinning tracks in their upcoming Test series against England, according to opener Rory Burns.
The 30-year-old Burns added that their spin duo of off-break bowler Dom Bess and slow left-arm orthodox Jack Leach, who will be up against a formidable Indian batting line-up, shouldn’t be put under too much pressure.
