Pipis give Kiwi woman paralytic shellfish poisoning after she ate seafood from Little Waihi Beach

A woman went from fit and healthy to fully paralysed in 12 hours of eating pipis - a clam-like shellfish - she collected from a popular beach on New Zealand's North Island.
