Pintard says govt 'bullied' Protection Against Violence Bill through House

Opposition Leader Michael Pintard yesterday decried the government’s decision to ignore the pleas of women’s groups to hold off on debate on the Protection Against Violence Bill, 2023, and allow more extensive consultations, and said the opposition is concerned about the fact that this particular bill is being pushed in place of the Gender-Based Violence Bill
