Following the Ghatkopar hoarding tragedy, which killed 17 people, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has begun taking action against unauthorised billboard holders in the city. So far, it has booked individuals associated with 24 illegal hoardings and plans to implement a new structural audit format for legal hoardings soon.
