Pune: Covid vaccine can be stored in 90 storage units in the Pune Municipal Corporation area and 32 in Pimpri-Chinchwad. Health department officials are expecting the addition of more storage areas and equipment soon.
Ashish Bharti, head of the civic body’s health department said that PMC’s storage network included 55 ice-lined fridges and 35 deep freezers. This capacity will be enough to store 4-5 lakh doses.
