A man is facing drug charges after police responded to domestic violence complaint in Pike County.
40-year-old Scott Hurley of Pikeville was inside a car in the driveway when police arrived at a home on Ferguson Lane in Pikeville.
Officers with Pikeville Police say Hurley quickly exited that vehicle and began to walk away when they noticed what they called a large bulge in his pocket.
When officers checked to make sure Hurley didn’t have a weapon, they instead found a bag containing meth and suboxone pills, along with digital scales and baggies.
He’s facing drug trafficking and other drug related charges and has been lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.
