Math and munchies are uniting for another weekend holiday in Seattle, because this March 14, we're celebrating National Pi Day.
Also known by the Greek letter "π," the constant value frequented in much of our high school math homework, 3.14, was first calculated by Archimedes of Syracuse (287-212 BC).
Thousands of years later and it's still frequented, even for a sweet national holiday and pop culture phenomenon.

While we celebrate mathematicians abound today, it's more fun to celebrate with a slice of pie as well.
