Photos: Wabasha-Kellogg community mourns the loss of officer Matthew Ruge

A candlelight vigil was held for Burnsville police officer Matthew Ruge on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, under the bridge at Heritage Park in Wabasha. Ruge, his fellow officer Paul Elmstrand and firefighter-paramedic Adam Finseth were fatally shot while responding to a domestic call in a Burnsville home on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024.
