Here we have ADVrider’s Photos of the Week for April 9, 2021, a delectable selection of images from places far and wide, near and thin, and . . . now and then—for not all of these images were taken within the last couple of weeks, or even the last couple of years. But they are all guaranteed fresh, so sample away, and remember to send in your photos.
Our Featured Image this week (above) was taken more than three years ago but hasn’t lost its shine. @Bomose shot the picture with a Canon G15 as his friend Richard, celebrating his 60th birthday, rode into Cathedral Valley in Utah on a 2011 KTM 990R. There really is something magically delicious about Utah, a state that can boil the water out of your veins if you get lost on a hot afternoon, but also a place with some of the most spectacular landforms in all of North America. When the sun begins to lower and spreads color into the air, almost anything can look good. But when the scene punches back with a built-in palette of colors and textures, the resulting image can be striking. That LOST sticker on the back of Richard’s helmet only adds to the charm.
