PHOTOS: Oregon Humane Society helps 36 cats from 'overwhelmed' Oregon Coast shelter

After an Oregon Coast animal shelter became overwhelmed with abandoned cats and kittens this past year, the Oregon Humane Society stepped in to help, transferring 36 cats to their Portland campus on Tuesday.
