Photography Contest on Wetlands

Marking the World Wetlands Day (Feb. 2), a Photography Contest has been jointly organised by Karnataka Forest Department, Mysuru Wildlife Division and Regional Museum of Natural History (RMNH), Mysuru, from Feb. 2 to Feb.12 on the theme Wetland Ecosystem with focus on importance of wetlands. Photography competition will be held in two categories — College Section (all college students) and General Public (all ages). Each category will have first prize (Rs. 5,000), second prize (Rs. 3,000) and third prize (Rs. 2,000), along with three consolation prizes (Rs. 1,000).
